The set shown above is of the Staunton design made from fumed English Oak suitable for a board with a four inch square (100mm). For size comparison a standard pawn is included in the shot.

This set is intended for use outdoors so the Rook does not have the usual crenulations cut into the top as this would trap any rain. The two pieces I am shown holding below are for a 6 inch (150mm) square and are made from English Oak and in a slightly different style.
